My thoughts on the exit poll that predicts a large majority for the Conservatives are the the people don’t want the ‘march of the masses’. They want I’m all right Jack, just like the election that brought in the Conservatives after five years of austerity under the Conservative-LibDem coalition Government.
Left-leaning Labour frightens them.
The people either want Brexit or they don’t care enough about it to upset I’m all right Jack.
Thank G-d Corbyn did so badly. Now the centrists in Labour can take heart and kick him and Momentum out.
The LibDem promise did not materialise. I suspected as much when they faded from view in the last week before the election.
